Voters Favor Eliminating All Government Payments to Border Crossers

New research has found that Americans do not want the government to support people who come into the country illegally through financial assistance.

Recently, a national survey of 1,200 registered voters performed by Scott Rasmussen concluded that 66 percent of voters would support eliminating every government payment to illegally immigrants.

This survey incorporates 42 percent of voters who strongly support this concept, along with 24 percent who somewhat support eliminating payments.

Twenty-two percent disagreed with eliminating payments, while 11 percent remain undecided.
